The 5th bedroom with King size bed and private bath is on the ground floor of the house.Good for people with limited mobility. The 6th bedroom is in a little pyramid building right next to the main house- adorable. It has a king size bed, a full bath, dorm refrigerator and is AC'd! |
| Entertainment: Nature is your entertainment at this fabulous house. From the breath taking sunsets every night to the humpback whales that come through in the winter months, to the incredible snorkeling, to the walks along the secluded beaches, this is a truly exceptional property.Rincon is famous for sunsets, beautiful beaches both for swimming and surfing, whale watching in the winter, all sorts of water activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, banana boat rides, deep sea fishing, and more! The Humpback whales come down late December to about mid-March. A real treat to see! The new Tres Palmas Marine Preserve is a great spot to go snorkeling and see some of the fantastic sea life we are famous for just feet off shore! You may be as busy or relaxed as you choose in Rincon. Various delicious restaurants await you all over town, and you may take wonderful day trips to different parts of the island. Mayaguez is 20 minutes to the south of us with shopping malls, cinemas, casinos and more. Close enough to be handy, far enough away to keep Rincon a nice little town! The Arecibo Observatory (setting for James Bond's Golden Eye and Jody Foster in Contact) and the Camuy Caves are just 1.5 hour drive, a great day trip for Wednesdays - Sundays . |
| Other Comments: Because of where this property is situated, on a famous surf break and a marine reserve with several reefs, it is for experienced swimmers only. There are tidal pools up and down the beach for small children to play and sandy areas from which to go into the ocean to snorkel, but it is not your typical Caribbean beach. |

Deposits: 50% by Visa, MC, or Discover only.
Payment Policies: Reservation Rules: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of reservation by Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. The balance is due 30 days before arrival by same credit card. If less than 30 days until check-in, payment in full is due at time of reservation. No reservations should be assumed until the initial deposit or payment is made and a signed contract is received by the renter from Island West Properties. Please do not make any travel plans that can not be changed until you have received your signed contract. Home can not be held without a deposit. First payment will have the reservation.
Cancellations: If ninety (90) or more days notice is received, 10% of the entire rental amount shall be retained. If less than 90 days notice, 20% of the entire rental amount shall be retained ONLY if the unit is subsequently rented. If we cannot rent the unit, the entire deposit is forfiet. EXCEPTION: For reservations between Dec. 15 and Jan 7, ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Arrival/Departure: Check out time is 11:00 AM (you must check with office to request an extended time) Check in time is 2:00 PM. Additional half day charge for early check-ins.
Tax: 7% room tax cleaning fee if <7 nts
